‘Khiladi 786′ to release in Pakistan as simply “Khiladi”
‘Khiladi 786′, the Akshay Kumar film set to be released worldwide on the 7th of December, will be releasing in Pakistan as only “Khiladi”, as per instructions by the censor board.
The film which is a continuity of Akshay’s most recognised role in the Khiladi series faced a snag with the Pakistani censor authorities who considered the name to be offensive for the Muslim viewership in Pakistan.
Understanding the significance of these numbers for the people, Eros International has agreed to release the movie with a different title in the country.
Khiladi will be Akshay Kumar’s last offering for the year 2012, after the super success of Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore and OMG Oh My God!, and this too might be another hit for the super star action hero.
