Ali Zafar performing with SRK Katrina n Priety on Valentine’s Day

2013 is proving to be a big year for Ali Zafar. With five major projects already in the pipeline, Ali Zafar will be setting the stage on fire on Valentine’s Day in Muscat with a sixth. Not only will he be putting on his trademark electrifying performance and wooing fans, he will also be performing alongside Bollywood A-listers Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Preity Zinta. It is quite clear that Ali’s fame and self-effacing charm precedes him wherever he goes. Pakistan’s golden boy is quickly becoming a household name in Bollywood as well.

A source close to the event divulged, “Ali is a huge name on the international platform since his music is popular with the fans there. His films too have created a good amount of buzz and he is amongst the most sought after stars for shows abroad. Despite being just two films old he will be performing with huge Bollywood names like Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Preity Zinta.”

More of Ali’s projects to look forward to are his forthcoming film, David Dhavan’s remake of Sai Paranjpe’s 1981 classic, Chashme Buddoor, in which he plays Farooque Shaikh’s character; a Yash Raj film entitled Kill Dil; Eeshwar Nivas’s tentatively titled Aman Ki Asha; the eagerly anticipated fourth album; and the world tour.

There is no doubt that the talented Mr. Zafar is not content to rest on his laurels, and we may expect many more things to come yet.
